The Crash After The Fall: What God Does With Pride

Proverbs 16:18Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

How many of us can admit we’re prideful? Only those who’ve been brought down low.
Who knows what humble pie is? Those who’ve eaten every last man-made crumb.
What keeps us checking our attitude and place? The fear of the Lord.

The great mighty fortresses we build through words and actions are premonitions of whether they stand or fall. That which we create births the path to our soul. Is it a bright light you attend to or a darker night approaches?
